Floors that have held up.

A rolling portfolio of recent Carolina Epoxy installs across the Charlotte metro — residential garages, commercial back-of-house, outdoor polyaspartic, industrial urethane cement. Project photography is being added as each install wraps.

The Portfolio

Twelve recent projects. Nine cities.

What’s below is a representative cross-section of Carolina Epoxy work from the last twelve months — the kinds of slabs, spaces, and systems that show up most often on the schedule. Every project was installed by Robert start to finish. Photography for each is being captured during the warranty follow-up visit and added to the page over the coming months.

If one of these is close to what you have in mind, send the details and we’ll put together a written quote with the same spec. If it’s not on the list, it’s probably still something we do — browse the full services catalog or call (704) 775-1120.

The Standard

What every project on this page has in common.

Every floor in the gallery — residential, commercial, outdoor, industrial — got the same prep standard. Diamond grinding to a CSP-3 profile, crack chase and structural patching, moisture-mitigated primer. What changes between a Ballantyne garage and a Gastonia food-plant bay is the chemistry of the wear layer and the mil-thickness of the build. What doesn’t change is the person doing the prep.

That consistency is why a three-year-old Carolina Epoxy floor still looks like a one-year-old floor from a discount installer. It’s not the resin brand. It’s the prep. Read more about how we got here, or see where we work.

Common Questions

From shop floor to showroom.

Can I see projects similar to the one I’m planning?

Almost certainly. The gallery covers residential garages, basements, patios, commercial showrooms, warehouse bays, and outdoor driveways — flake, metallic, solid color, and polyaspartic finishes. If you don’t see your exact use case, mention it on the contact form and we’ll send phone-camera shots from recent installs that match.

Are these projects all installed by Robert personally?

Yes — every job in the gallery was installed by Robert and the in-house Carolina Epoxy Coatings crew. We don’t sub out installs, and we don’t pad the gallery with stock images or vendor photos. What you see is what we’ve built across the Charlotte metro.

Can you replicate a specific color or pattern from the gallery?

Almost always. Flake blends are mixed to spec, metallic swirls follow a technique we can repeat, and solid-color polyaspartic is a straightforward color match. The one caveat: metallic is hand-troweled, so two installs of the “same” pattern will read as siblings rather than identical twins — that’s the nature of the finish.

Do you photograph every completed job?

Yes, with the homeowner or facility manager’s permission. We shoot a final walkthrough on every install — wide shots, detail shots, and at least one image with raking light to show the texture honestly. Not every shoot makes it to the gallery; we curate for variety and quality.

How often is the gallery updated?

We add new projects in batches every 4–6 weeks during the busy season (spring through fall) and monthly through winter. If a recent install isn’t here yet and you want to see it, ask — we’ll share images directly.
