The Catalog

Every system on the catalog gets the same prep.

A resin floor is only as good as the slab it’s bonded to. Every Carolina Epoxy install — from a residential garage in Matthews to a food-plant bay in Gastonia — starts with mechanical diamond grinding to a CSP-3 surface profile, crack chase and structural patching, and moisture-mitigated primer. What changes between systems is the chemistry of the wear layer, the mil-thickness of the build, and the topcoat. The prep standard doesn’t.

What follows is the full catalog. Each service links to a dedicated page with the system spec, install process, and pricing approach. If you’re not sure which system your slab needs, send the details and Robert will spec it on the walkthrough.

The Coverage

Every service is available across nine cities.

Charlotte, Fort Mill (SC), Matthews, Indian Trail, Mooresville, Davidson, Gastonia, Monroe, and Huntersville — every city Carolina Epoxy serves gets access to all eight systems on the same weekly schedule. No city-by-city availability gaps. Travel is included in the quote. See the full service area map.

The same owner quotes, preps, and installs every floor, whether it’s a Charlotte garage or a Mooresville lake-house outbuilding. That’s the whole operating model.

Common Questions

Picking the right system.

How do I know which service fits my space?

Start with how the floor is used. Home garages, basements, and patios usually land on garage floor coatings or polyaspartic driveway services. Warehouses, shops, and showrooms call for industrial floor coatings or commercial coatings. We walk every project on-site before recommending a system — traffic load, moisture, chemical exposure, and aesthetic goals all drive the spec.

Can one system cover residential and commercial needs?

Sometimes. A full-flake epoxy with a polyaspartic topcoat handles most residential garages and light-commercial retail floors equally well. For heavier industrial use we step up to a thicker mil build and chemical-resistant topcoat. See commercial flake epoxy for the hybrid spec we install most often across the Charlotte metro.

What’s the difference between flake and metallic?

Flake is a vinyl chip broadcast into wet epoxy — durable, hides imperfections, great grip, and reads as textured from across the room. Metallic epoxy is a pigmented resin that swirls into a marbled, reflective finish — dramatic, one-of-one, best for showrooms, man caves, and feature floors. Flake is the workhorse; metallic is the showpiece.

Do you handle polyaspartic topcoat-only jobs over an existing floor?

Yes, provided the existing coating is sound and properly prepped. A polyaspartic top coat is a smart refresh for floors that have lost their sheen but still bond well. If the base is delaminating or moisture is coming up through the slab, we’ll recommend a full tear-out instead — we’ll tell you straight during the walkthrough.

Which services work best for outdoor surfaces?

Outdoor coatings and polyaspartic driveway services are UV-stable and engineered for freeze-thaw cycles across the Carolinas. Epoxy alone yellows in direct sun, so outdoor installs always use polyaspartic — either as a full system or as the UV-protective topcoat over a flake or pigmented base.
